  • If your child has library books or classroom books that they are no longer reading, please start sending those back to school.
  • Next week Tuesday is our school talent show. Make sure your child brings any props and costumes to school if they are participating.
  • Wednesday we will be celebrating our 60th outstanding this year by having an 80’s themed day. Students can wear bright colors, neon and anything else 80’s they might have!

Weekly Highlights:

Math: We have learned all about different types of measurement from the metric system to the customary system, to finding perimeter, area, time, and volume. Next week we will be testing our knowledge on all things measurement!

Writing: This week we continued writing our informational books. Students have created several subtopics from their topic and are now creating text features to make their writing more interesting. These books are really coming along!

Reading: This week we started reading biographies in book clubs. We have used a new app called Jamboard to take notes, and discuss different aspects of their historical figure. The kids are loving it.
