• This week, Tuesday, December 7 at 7:45 we will hold our Holiday Program at FairHaven Church. Please read here for more important information!
• Students may bring 1 dollar in for the 5th grade candy canes sales until December 16!

Holiday Party:

• The vote is in! The 4th graders almost unanimously chose to plan their own Holiday Party!
  They have many amazing ideas and I’m sure that a great time will be had by all!

Math: This week we have begun learning about division! Students have learned that multiplication and division are inverse operations. We have learned different strategies to solve division including place value sections and expanded notation.

Writing: Students have almost completed their realistic fiction stories. We are publishing and will celebrate all of our hard work this week with a sharing party!

Reading: We have been working on reading nonfiction texts. This week we will begin a new unit learning about severe weather.

Social Studies: Friday we found airplane tickets under our desks. We got on a flight and started our Holidays Around the World exploration. In the next 2 weeks we will be flying around the world, going to new countries and learning about different holiday traditions. Students are very excited to see where we will go! 🙂
