Update!

Notes For Parents:

  • We will be celebrating our Fall Party on Friday, October 29. Students may wear costumes to school. Georgetown invites you all to attend our costume parade at 3:00.  🙂

Weekly Highlights:

Math: We have been working on mastering 3 different methods of multiplication. These different ways help students to not only solve multiplication problems but it helps them to understand multiplication as a whole.

Writing: Students have created a second personal narrative. They have made so much growth in the last few months. We have worked on using mentor texts to help us elaborate in our stories.

Reading: This week we focused on building stamina while reading, pushing to read for longer durations of time while staying focused and engaged in our texts.

Multiplication Methods

Students worked together to create posters of each multiplication method. Then students taught each other these skills. They did a fabulous job!

Outstanding Prize: Outdoor Adventure

Welcome to the Bat Cave!

Friday our classroom was transformed into a bat cave. We had glow sticks, and batty activities! It was a blast!
